You guys are the best! I received the Bass on Thursday and have since received the paperwork. I used it at my band's show the following Satuday and it rocked. Not only is it the coolest looking bass that I have ever actually held, it also sounds amazing. The EMG pickups are hotter than anything than I have ever used, and that includes basses from Tobias, Washburn, Yamaha and Rickenbacker. All the basses that I have used in the past were great, but I never thought of them as being My bass. I can say now that this is my bass, and no one else has one just like it. I definitely wanted to let you guys know that you have done amazing work and that I could not be more pleased with the bass. I look forward to using it at every show from here on out!

The first thing that struck me when I got the bass was what a beautiful piece of art it was!!! Second, I just understood that this bass was made with love and care, nothing was left to coincidence, every little detail was done as perfect as possible! The sound on the bass was just fantastic: I plugged it in an tried it and was amazed how it sounded. The sound of the fretless... On a record it could fool anyone who didn't know that this was an electric bass to believe that this must be a upright bass!
Now I sound like a fanatic! But the problem is I AM! There is no one over and no one at the side - only under!!!
I'M IN LOVE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE!!!

I have had the pleasure to do business with Alex and UVA Instruments several times over the past two years. Alex never fails to amaze me with his mechanical genius, and great sense of metal, and what a metal guitarist needs. With every customization performed to my guitars by Alex, I have been more than impressed. I receive my guitars back in prompt time, and excellent condition. Each time I get my guitar back, and plug in to play.... it excites me with the feeling of a new guitar.... My guitars never sound great, until they have been treated by Alex. I would, and DO recommend Alex and UVA to any serious players. Anyone looking, UVA is where you'll find it.
