FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
What Are accepted forms of payment?
We currently accept Visa/Master Card payments through www.paypal.com. Our e-mail address for PayPal payments is uvainstruments@aol.com. We also accept cash (in LA area only, NOT by mail), money orders and personal checks (will be held untill cleared).
What is Included in the Price?
The quoted price includes the instrument itself, a case and a limited lifetime warranty to the original owner. The shipping is NOT included.
How much is the shipping?
The shipping cost will be quoted at the time of order. It will depend greatly on the destination and the type and modification of the instruments you are ordering. The shipping expences are paid by the customer.
Why is it more expencive to ship basses abroad than guitars?
Usually we ship abroad through USPS, which is cheaper then courrier companies. However, USPS has package size limits; and while most guitars fit that size perfectly, basses are longer and they don't meet the requirement. That's why we have to ship basses abroad using UPS or FedEx.
What are the Terms of Payment?
Before any work begins, we will quote you the price and the approximate amount of time your order will take (usually will vary from 8 to 12 weeks for a full custom instrument). The NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of 50% of the price is required to start work on your instrument. The ballance plus the shipping cost is due upon completion of the instrument and before the shipment. Please, note: shipping will vary depending on the destination. You shipping options will be quoted at the time of ordering.
What is the Return Policy?
All our custom-built instruments fall under the no-return policy, since those are talored specifically to your needs and built just for you. However, they do carry the limited lifetime warranty for deffects in materials and craftmanship.
